My experience learning English at university has been good, when I was in high school I didn't learn much because I had a bad teacher, so going back to English has helped me understand grammar and vocabulary. I imagine that before the classes were very different but through the zoom platform I feel that I learned anyway, it is more comfortable and I also think that it gives less anxiety jajaja, besides that digitally one has more tools to do the class. Ucursos is a good way to organize and upload study material, besides that you can review the recorded classes, which is very useful for reviewing material, I also find blogs good because writing and putting together sentences helps with grammar and is also fun to do. In my daily life the truth is that I do not practice English much, the closest thing is when watching movies in the original language or listening to music in English and learning the lyrics. I need to practice a lot more, because over time I forget how to say cer...

It is difficult for me to talk about changes in my career because I was at the university in person for practically a semester, so I lost the dynamics of the workshop and teaching. However, I would have liked the curriculum to include more techniques and workshops, because I like to learn from all artistic techniques and unfortunately you cannot do everything. Regarding the workload, I think it is good in general, only that in the first year I had drawing classes that lasted 3 hours and they were in the afternoons, so they were very tiring, I would have liked them to be in the mornings. I would also like the teaching to focus more on the use of virtual creation software and programs, because it is important to do works and projects. The infrastructure of my faculty is quite bad, at least at the Las Encinas campus, in the winters it rains the rooms, there are no lecterns or tables, the ceramic ovens are bad or they work at 50%? hahaha, but worst of all is that there are rooms with a...

I have always thought about this topic, I am very curious to know what the future will be like, what kind of energy will be used, the new transport that will be created and the type of society that we will have in the future.     Although I am also afraid that if we do not change our way of living, producing and relating to nature, in 50 years the world could be devastated, and there would not be much to enjoy, but if that were not the case. , and humanity will change, it would be very interesting to see that new world.   I would like to travel to the future as the character Fry in the Futurama series, 1000 years ahead. It would be incredible to live with beings from other planets, or that space travel is totally normal, that we can visit other planets outside the solar system, which would mean new social problems outside of the ones we currently have. Maybe we would have another political-economic system, and problems such as racism, sexism and speciesism w...

I love animals and my favorite is the elephant, so I would love to work to care for them and support the conservation of this species at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an orphan elephant rescue and wildlife rehabilitation program in Nairobi, Kenya.   Since I was little I saw many documentaries on National Geographic or on the Discovery channel and I was fascinated by the natural world, over time I became aware of the state of nature and the treatment of animals, so I am currently vegan and I care a lot about the protection of species and ecosystems, so this work would be wonderful for me, and I think I would like to do it because helping animals fills me with a lot of love.   To do this type of work, I need to speak English well to communicate with the other caregivers, I need to have a lot of energy and patience to take care of baby elephants, maybe know how to drive a car to travel in Kenya, and also know first aid because in this kind of work you have to take risks deal...

It is difficult for me to choose a favorite series because I like many like Adventure Time, The Midnight Gospel or Avatar the Last Airbender, but I really love and adore the anime called: One Piece. It is the story of a young pirate named Monkey D. Luffy, who has a dream of becoming the king of pirates, and in the course of the series he meets "nakamas", which means companions or friends, in the context of an explosion of piracy in the world due to the final words of the king of pirates: Gol D. Roger, who encouraged people to go out to sea and find their great treasure: The One Piece.   The first time I saw this anime was at school but I did not take much patience because it is extraordinarily long, it is currently in chapter 995, but last year due to the pandemic I decided to give it another try, which was an excellent decision and I usually watch this anime alone, but I tend to chat with people about it (or bore people, haha).   It is my favorite anime because it is ...

An artist that inspires me a lot is Ray Troll, born March 4, 1954, who currently lives in Ketchikan, Alaska. He is a visual artist who portrays biodibersity and prehistoric terrestrial and marine animals, in a scientifically precise way, in addition to representing elements of pop culture. He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his scientific and artistic work, exhibiting in science and natural history museums. His work is inspired by biology, paleontology, geology, ecology, and evolutionary biology. I like his work because I love current and prehistoric animals, and I am passionate about learning about biology and paleontology, which is why he is a great reference for my graphic and pictorial work. Besides that his art is great for spreading science, biological studies and promoting environmental activism.   It is difficult for me to choose a work but I like it a lot, unfortunately there is not much information about the artist and the works on the internet so I ...

In the summer of 2020, I was backpacking through southern Chile for a month I think. it was really beautiful. I went with my ex to the trip and we visited many places, first Concepción where we stayed for a few days and then we continued south. We passed through Coñaripe, Villarrica, Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, Hornopiren, Futaleufu and finally we arrived at Coyhaique. We bathed in a river in Futaleufu, the water was very cold but pleasant, it was very crystalline and you could even see fish, we harvested wild strawberries, we ate hallucinogenic mushrooms and saw unicorns in a cloud that passed over the lake in Coñaripe, the truth was incredible. We also saw many birds such as kingfishers, queltehues, chucaos <3 and swallows, but the most amazing animal we saw was the huemul, I almost cried when I saw it. It was the best trip I have ever done, because I lived and learned many things, a person who was very important accompanied me and getting to know all those places, landscapes...
