I love animals and my favorite is the
elephant, so I would love to work to care for them and support the conservation
of this species at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an orphan elephant rescue and
wildlife rehabilitation program in Nairobi, Kenya.
Since I was little I saw many documentaries
on National Geographic or on the Discovery channel and I was fascinated by the
natural world, over time I became aware of the state of nature and the
treatment of animals, so I am currently vegan and I care a lot about the
protection of species and ecosystems, so this work would be wonderful for me,
and I think I would like to do it because helping animals fills me with a lot
of love.
To do this type of work, I need to speak
English well to communicate with the other caregivers, I need to have a lot of
energy and patience to take care of baby elephants, maybe know how to drive a
car to travel in Kenya, and also know first aid because in this kind of work
you have to take risks dealing with such big animals and with the damn poachers.
What beautiful elephant, the baby elephant have my heart. I think this job is amazing, one of the most tender definitely!
ResponderBorrarif I ever ever would like to have a job, I may be a caregiver to being with elephants. i bet they shit a lot, their own weight in a day or something like that
ResponderBorrarWhat I just read is too beautiful. Is rescue and conservation of species is fundamental. I would also like to work on that! but i'm very bad at biology.
